“Take me out to the ball game, take me out to the crowd!”
In 1839, baseball had it’s humble beginnings in the town of Cooperstown, New York. This great sport is now played and enjoyed worldwide! Here in Salt Lake City, we enjoyed the sport by attending a game for the Salt Lake Bees; many Interform employees made an appearance, and Interform was a proud sponsor. Our very own Laurie, a proud member of our print department, even threw the first pitch of the game! Despite a cloudy, stormy sky, the game went on and made for some fantastic memories.

Interform had a fun Employee BBQ a few weeks ago to celebrate our team, to talk, and to enjoy each other’s company. We don’t get the opportunity to simply enjoy each other much, so good food, good company, and good fun is the perfect way to both usher in summer and also to bring the team together. The BBQ featured food from @bbqsouthernsmoke, which was absolutely delicious! There is nothing quite like southern BBQ, and their food was out of this world. One of the fun elements that our owner, Mike, added to the event was a pair of custom Interform branded shoes for each of the employees. Now, we can all show off our branded shoes, whether at work or at other company events. It was a successful day and so much fun for everyone!
The year has gone by incredibly quickly, so far, and it is hard to believe it’s that time again. Yep, it’s time, once again, for the Interform Classic.
On June 21, 2023, we had our annual golf tournament at Eaglewood Golf Course in North Salt Lake.
It was a beautiful day with a cool breeze, which was perfect weather for the vendors we featured to show off some of their amazing products. They included everything from Ogio wheeled bags to custom golf hats to the latest water bottles. There were a slew of great items that helped us celebrate our 18th Classic. Check out some of the moments captured below.
Halloween is a holiday and tradition that has been around for centuries. It is said to date back to the ancient Celts’ celebration of Samhain. The word Halloween itself is said to mean transformation, a night where the the veil between the living and the dead is thin. The transformations, costumes, and masks are all elements that, for one day, allow us the freedom to dress up as other people, animals, etc. This holiday has been celebrated in the United States of America since 1914, and the earliest mention of trick-or-treating was in a Canadian Newspaper back in 1927.
Through the years at Interform, we have established some great traditions for our employees which help create a greater sense of unity and atmosphere of fun. Holidays are definitely one of the things we do, and do well!
Halloween is one of our favorite days of the year in the office. Anyone who wants to dress up in-costume, can. We celebrate with treats, costume contests, and trick-or-treating for the employees’ kids. This year, our employees outdid themselves, truly. We had a record number of participants in our annual costume contest; a lot of the employees even decorated their work areas, bringing a special, new element to the day. In our finishing area, they had a ghost that would fly around as well as a witch with her cauldron. Our entire sign shop seemed to be transformed overnight, bringing decorations that featured things from the popular tv show “Stranger Things”, as well as some other horror décor around the warehouse. Our very own web office also had cobwebs, a Halloween village and jack-o-lanterns. It made for a fun tour through the buildings throughout the day.
A lot of the departments all decided to dress up, which has been unlike previous years, and it created a spirit of fun and camaraderie. We had every kind of costume in our buildings. Whether you were looking for villains like Cruella de Vil, Winifred Sanderson, or Darth Maul, or more whimsical things like a butterfly, a pink lady, or Minnie Mouse, we had it all! One of our employees who dressed up as Medusa even brought in a live snake as part of her costume!
Our HR manager, who was a scarecrow this year, helped run the costume contest and took care of the afternoon snacks everyone got to enjoy. For this year’s snack, we had a delicious array of mini bundt cakes to choose from.
After a full day of activities, there was a poll that was sent out to all employees allowing them to vote in the Interform Costume Contest. The contest categories included:
Funniest Costume
Spookiest Costume
Best Department Costumes
Best Overall Individual Costumes
We are excited to find out this week who won as the tallies and votes are all counted.
As our Halloween has wrapped up and costumes are off, masks and wigs are put away, and the sugar highs are gone, we are thankful that we had a fun, safe, and joyous day. We look forward to the following months where we can celebrate gratitude and the winter holidays.
For seventeen years, Interform has been holding a fall show that features the fantastic vendors that we work with throughout the year. At the show, we have the chance to show our clients and potential clients some of the amazing products that are coming into the market. The show is held in the fall and gives clients many ideas of potential products they can order ahead of time for the up-and-coming holidays or for the following year. Having it in September gives them a sufficient amount of time to make their decisions so that they don’t have to stress before the Christmas Season begins.
The vendors bring everything, from new technology on the market to clothing and hat trends and/or water bottles and other exciting items and food gifts. It’s obvious that one can seriously add their branding to pretty much any product; we saw everything from a light-up logoon the side of headphones to collapsible water bottles and jackets that can transform into backpacks. The list goes on!
This is the biggest event of the year at Interform, and we were lucky to host it this year at the Vivint Smart Home Arena where the Utah Jazz play their home games during the NBA season. It was an unforgettable experience! The show this year went smashingly, and we hope to see you there for the next one!
